|
Course Length: 3 days.
Overview This course provides students with the knowledge and skills to design a secure network infrastructure. This course will cover topics including assembling the design team, modelling threats and analysing security risks to meet business requirements for securing computers in a networked environment. Students will learn to plan a framework for network security, identify threats to network security and analyse security risks. Furthermore, they will become trained in designing security for physical resources, computers, accounts and services, authentication, data, data transmission and for network perimeters. Students will also be able to design an incident response procedure. In addition, students will be skilled in designing an acceptable use policy, as well as policies for managing networks. Finally, students will be able to design an operations framework for managing security.
