Course Length: 5 days.
Overview This course provides participants with product knowledge and skills needed to implement a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database. The course focuses on teaching individuals how to use SQL Server 2005 product features and tools related to implementing a database.
After course completion, participants will be able to create databases and database files, data types and tables. Participants will also be able to use XML in SQL Server 2005, create indexes, and implement data integrity. Additionally, participants will capable of implementing procedures and functions. Lastly, they will be skilled in using Service Broker for building a messaging-based solution and using Notification Services for generating and sending notifications.
Audience This course is intended for IT Professionals wanting to become skilled on SQL Server 2005 product features and technologies for implementing a database.
Outline
Prerequisites Before attending this course, participants must have basic knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system and its core functionality. Additionally, participants should have working knowledge of Transact-SQL and relational database. Participants will also have some experience with database design. It is also recommended, but not required, that participants have completed (50027) Writing Queries Using Microsoft SQL Server Transact-SQL and (2780) Maintaining a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Database. |
