Overview This course provides IT Professionals with the skills and knowledge they need to configure identity and access solutions with Windows Server 2008 Active Directory.
After completing this course, students will be able to configure Active Directory Certificate Services, Lightweight Directory Services, Federation Services and Active Directory Rights Management Services. Students will also be able to describe identity and access solutions, as well as deploy and manage certificates. In addition, students will be skilled in troubleshooting identity and access solutions, and maintaining access management solutions.
Audience This course is intended for IT Professionals interested in learning how to implement Identity and Access solutions in their enterprise environment. Most students will be IT professionals who are responsible for integrating applications and platforms with enterprise directory and security services while increasing access to a growing number of customers and partners.

Prerequisites Before attending this course, students must have technical knowledge equivalent to course (6424) Fundamentals of Microsoft Server 2008 Active Directory. In addition, students should have technical background knowledge and hands on experience of Active Directory Domain Services. This will also include technical knowledge equivalent to course (6425A) Configuring Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Domain Services.
