Overview

This course provides students with the knowledge and skills to perform common administrative tasks using software tools and utilities. Students will also be introduced to the file storage, printing and network administrative solutions. Furthermore, students will be taught to install Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 on the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 platform. In addition to this, students will be able to configure a TCP/IP network and manage encryption with the Novell Certificate Server.

Audience

This course is intended for professionals who already have the Novell Certified Administrator (NCA) certification, or equivalent network-related experience. Students should be prepared to manage Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 and perform tasks often required of employees who provide support for medium-sized to large networks.
